Sheikh Jafar Al-Waeli

Shyakh Jafaar al-Waeli was born in the Holy City of Najaf and joined the Islamic Seminary (Hawza Ilmiyya) there at the age of fifteen. He pursued his religious studies through all of its stages and attended Bahth al-Kharij (advanced jurisprudential research) under some of the most prominent scholars and jurists, including Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Ishaq Al-Fayyadh and Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Saeed Al-Hakim. In addition to his seminary studies, he taught all the introductory books of the Hawza curriculum. He lectured in most cities of Iraq, as well as in Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, the United States, and several European countries. He has also participated in numerous scholarly conferences inside and outside Iraq, where several of his research papers have been published.
