Sheikh Bilal was born and raised in New York. After completing his undergrad studies in business at Temple University he worked in corporate America for a number of years before heading to Najaf.In Najaf he focused on jurisprudential and contemporary issues pertaining to communities in the west. After 7 years in Iraq, he’s now serving in the north east of America focusing on youth issues, muslim identity, social involvement and community development.
