
Anisa Diab earned her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from The University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Salisbury University. She is a Faith-Based Mental Health Professional and National Certified Counselor. Anisa is also a national speaker on Muslim mental wellness, mental health stigma, suicide prevention, and Islamophobia among others.
Previously, Anisa Diab worked as a clinical therapist at various campus counseling centers. She was also Coordinator for the STAND4YOU suicide prevention program at Salisbury University's Counseling Center. Later, Anisa worked as a Crisis Counselor for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Currently, Anisa has her own practice where she provides virtual faith-based counseling and consultation sessions including psychoeducational workshops and courses. A native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Anisa recently moved to Dearborn Heights, Michigan with her husband of over 15 years and two children.
